If you’ve never enjoyed a pastel de nata before (seriously, where have you been?!) then we’re pretty sure you’ll adore them. Portugal’s take on an egg custard has a wonderfully rich, sweet centre and is encased with light pastry before being baked at a high temperature to give the characteristic leopard-spot finish.
